Mental Health CounselorJamestown Healing Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Counselor to provide assessment, counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services. This role delivers comprehensive individual and group therapy within an integrated care setting that includes primary care, dental, behavioral health, and opioid use disorder treatment. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support whole-person care and patient well-being.Full-time, 40 hours per week: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or Monday–Friday 5:30 AM – 2:00 PMEssential FunctionsWorks with a multidisciplinary treatment team to identify and meet patient needs through the treatment planning processConducts intake assessments, completes documentation, and provides diagnoses using the DSM-5Provides individual, family, and group therapy for co-occurring disordersDevelops treatment plans for patients with dual diagnosesMaintains timely and accurate documentation including treatment goals, crisis plans, and progress notesFacilitates psychoeducational and ongoing therapy groupsAdheres to all JHC policies and procedures, including safety standards and HIPAAPerforms other duties as assigned by leadershipRequirementsMaster's degree in a mental health disciplineLMHC, LMHCA, LMFT, LMFTA, LASW, or LICSW with unrestricted Washington State licenseMinimum of two (2) years of mental health treatment experienceKnowledge of human behavior, psychological research methods, and treatment of behavioral and affective disordersExperience working with patients with substance use disorders and ability to apply harm-reduction strategiesUnderstanding of cross-cultural care, trauma-informed practices, and regulations including 42 CFRStrong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to pass a criminal background check and meet vaccine requirementsCPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain upon hireProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to travel locally and regionally as neededValid Washington State driver's licensePreferred QualificationsKnowledge of administrative operations, personnel management, and complianceExperience working with dually diagnosed patients and comfortable with the ASAM assessment.SUDP and LMHC State license preferred.Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionAmerican Indian/Alaska Native preference applies
