Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, covering areas such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
  • Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures, ensuring clarity and compassion in your explanations
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imagery
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, addressing any issues rapidly
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
  • Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards
Educational Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
  • Preferably, completion of a program accredited by CAAHEP in Sonography
Required Certifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar qualification
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
