Position Overview We are searching for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a valued member of our dynamic imaging team committed to providing stellar patient care. Utilizing cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will perform vital diagnostic procedures, work alongside an encouraging group of clinically skilled professionals, and offer peace of mind to patients through precise and timely imaging. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations, covering areas such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures, ensuring clarity and compassion in your explanations
- Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver exceptional diagnostic imagery
- Operate and maintain sophisticated imaging equipment, addressing any issues rapidly
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of procedures and patient records in the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of developments in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry standards
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
- Preferably, completion of a program accredited by CAAHEP in Sonography
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a similar qualification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
- Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and adept in patient positioning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
