Job Title : Quality Systems Coordinator

Location: Gardena, Ca

Shift: 1st shift

Hourly Pay Range - $25-30/hr

Employment Type: Full time
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday

Job Summary:

The Quality Systems Coordinator oversees and maintains the existing QMS, making sure procedures, records, documentation, audits, corrective actions, and other quality-system requirements are kept current, properly documented, and followed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support QMS compliance with company procedures and quality requirements.
• Assist with internal audits, audit checklists, and follow-up activities.
• Review procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify gaps or issues in procedures and documentation and communicate findings.
• Create and track NCRs/nonconformances through resolution and closure.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Technical teams on NCR disposition.
• Maintain accurate quality records, documentation, and tracking logs.
• Support CAPA/RCCA and corrective action activities as needed.
• Follow up on open quality issues and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and support other quality systems activities.
• Use ERP/quality systems to track records and quality activities; DataCore training provided.
• Work independently with strong attention to detail and organization.

Requirements:

• Aerospace manufacturing experience preferred
• Familiarity with AS9100 is very important
• Approximately 1-3 years of quality experience; flexible on exact experience
• Experience with audits, audit checklists and procedure compliance
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Someone who can work with limited hand-holding and recognize gaps in procedures/documentation
• Experience creating and tracking NCRs/nonconformances
• Ability to coordinate with Production and Quality/Technical personnel regarding NCR disposition
• CAPA/RCCA experience is a plus but not required
• Final inspection experience is a plus, but this is not an Inspector position
• ERP experience is a plus, but knowledge of their system DataCore is not required; training will be provided
