Job Summary TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a position in Durham, North Carolina. Job Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 40 Shift: 8 hours, days Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) Bill within the setting, following facility guidelines Understand and comply with the PT board rules and state regulations Interface with medical center personnel and physicians for team-focused care plans Operate adaptive equipment Evaluate patients and create a plan of care Modify plans of care based on patient condition Use the medical center computer system for daily tasks Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged). Must have BLS and state-specific licensing. Physical therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Must have sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. BLS 2 years of experience* (additional certifications may be required before assignment) Pay & Benefits Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend.
