Located in Baton Rouge, LA Pay: $19/HR Job Full Description Express Employment Professionals of Baton Rouge is partnering with an HVAC, Refrigeration, & Heating Supply Company seeking an upbeat and customer‑focused Inside Sales Counter Representative. This role supports phone and walk‑in customers, processes sales orders, and assists with warehouse and store operations in a fast‑paced office/industrial environment. Pay: $19/HR | TEMP TO PERM OPPORTUNITY Schedule: Full‑time | Monday-Friday | 8:00AM-5:00PM Primary Duties- Assist customers at the sales counter and over the phone with product selection and order processing
- Handle walk‑in and phone sales orders accurately and efficiently
- Pull, stage, and load merchandise for customer pickups and deliveries
- Support general warehouse operations, including stocking, organizing, and inventory upkeep
- Maintain store cleanliness and housekeeping standards
- Provide friendly, positive, and professional customer service at all times
- Work as a team player and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment
- Stay open to learning about HVAC, refrigeration, and supply products
- Knowledge of the HVAC/supply industry is REQUIRED
- Previous sales or customer service experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a combined office/industrial warehouse environment
- Positive, upbeat attitude with strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
