Job Title: Payroll Services Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Services Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll Services Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and related activities. This includes maintaining accurate employee records, calculating wages and deductions, processing payroll payments, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, excellent mathematical and analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations and payments for all employees
- Maintain accurate employee records, including new hire information, salary adjustments, and deductions
- Prepare, reconcile, and distribute payroll reports to the management team and other stakeholders
- Assist employees with inquiries related to their payroll, benefits, and tax deductions
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, statutes, and regulations pertaining to payroll processing
- Prepare and submit necessary payroll tax reports and payments to appropriate authorities
- Stay updated on changes in payroll and tax legislation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to resolve payroll-related issues or discrepancies
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of payroll data and records
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information and payroll data
- Assist in the implementation and enhancement of payroll systems and processes
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or related field
- Proven work experience in payroll administration or related field
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and best practices
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Professional certification (e.g., Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus
