Database Administrator 2 (DBA II)
Location - Austin, TX
Position OverviewSeeking an experienced Database Administrator 2 to support enterprise database environments, data warehouses, and decision-support systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, data modeling, ETL processes, performance tuning, database security, disaster recovery, and enterprise reporting environments.
Experience Level: 4–7 Years
Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise database systems
- Support database software upgrades and migrations
- Design, analyze, modify, and maintain database structures
- Develop database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Implement database security controls and user access management
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning improvements
- Design logical and physical database models
- Build and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories
- Support data warehouse and data mart implementations
- Develop standards, policies, and procedures for database environments
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies and software solutions
- Assist users with data access and reporting requirements
- Ensure database environments comply with security and accessibility standards
- Support database benchmarking and threshold testing initiatives

- Oracle Database Administration Experience
- SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) Report Development
- M204 Database Experience
- Accessibility (EIR) Compliance Experience
- Government or Public Sector Experience
- Strong teamwork and collaboration
