Personal Trainer Contract

HCOA Fitness is the leader in the fitness industry in Puerto Rico with 14 gyms around the island. We focus on offering our members the necessary tools to achieve their goals and obtain lifelong results. We are looking for an independent contractor to provide personal training services in the area of total body fitness.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a personal commitment to meet the needs of members and guests.
• Demonstrate the correct use of weight and cardiovascular exercise equipment.
• Interview clients and make exercise recommendations based on fitness assessments, as well as the needs and goals of members.
• Behave as a role model and promote a healthy lifestyle.
• Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times with clients and colleagues.
• Promote the benefits of training to acquire new members and retain existing ones.
• Recommend changes to programming and services based on current market trends.

Education, experience, and certification:

• Nationally recognized personal training certification (ACE, ACSM, ISSA, NASM as examples).
• Must have CPR, first aid, and DRD certification (must be obtained within the first 6 months of employment).

Growth opportunities available payment per training session plus commissions for new clients. When sending your resume specify which locations you would be available to work.
