Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time contracted role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy services within a school setting, based in Fortson, GA. This opportunity involves providing remote speech therapy support, ensuring students receive quality care through virtual sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students across assigned districts via teletherapy platforms.
- Maintain detailed daily logs documenting therapy sessions and student progress.
- Collaborate with district personnel during the placement process to align therapy assignments with individual expertise and preferences.
- Participate in potential pre- and post-planning activities related to the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Valid Georgia Educator Certificate for SLPs or in the process of obtaining certification, with the understanding that work commencement depends on certification activation.
- Proven experience providing virtual speech therapy services within educational environments.
- Comfortable using digital platforms for documentation and therapy delivery.
- Flexibility to handle a varying caseload based on district assignments.
Location and Schedule:
- Position is based in Fortson, Georgia, servicing students remotely in the district.
- Full-time commitment of at least 37.5 hours per week.
- Contract term from the current date through May 21, 2027, including possible planning days before and after the school year.
