Material Program Manager

Material Program Manager (MPM) for SM3-IIA ProgramRaytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) for their SM3-IIA program to be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. We are looking for a self-starter who can develop and achieve program objectives in a matrixed environment and is able to successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you will be the liaison between Supply Chain and the Program Team for Supply Chain. The role will support development portfolio, ensuring material strategies align with evolving program requirements and integration to the production flow. This includes identifying future at-risk components, developing mitigation plans, and supporting overall material readiness. You'll contribute to the execution of Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure the flawless execution of products and programs from the front end of the business through integration to production.The successful candidate will influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.What You Will Do:Brief program and customer leadership teams on Supply Chain status, material constraints and risk mitigation or opportunity capture plansSupport supplier negotiations and drive PO placement as required to meet program cost and schedule objectivesContribute to timely and compliant quarterly Estimates At Completion (EACs) to include Risk & Opportunity managementIdentify Customer Prime Contract Flow-Downs and obtain any required Terms Attachments (T-Attachments) and/or Modifications (TCMs).Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs), and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests.Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.Willingness to travel domestically/internationally, as required (expected to be <25%)Qualifications You Must Have:Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience in Program Management, Material Program Management, Procurement, Contracts, Finance, Operations, and/or Strategic SourcingExperience working with Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.Qualifications We Prefer:CORE or similar Six Sigma SpecialistProposals/Estimating and/or Basis of Estimates (BOEs) experienceExperience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)Execution experience of multiple program and contract types (i.e EMD, LRIP, FRP, Cost and Fixed Price)What We OfferOur values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
