Automotive Mechanic – Pinellas Park, FL As Mavis's leaders in undercar repairs, our Automotive Mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers' vehicles. They perform brake, strut and shock repairs, complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate and balance tires. Qualifications At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United States At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience Extensive personal toolbox required for performing undercar repairs State inspection license(s) (preferred) ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5) (preferred) Physical Demands Requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, pulling, reaching and performing repeated movements.
