Mental Health Coordinator LSW or LPC

Description The Mental Health Coordinator oversees mental health services within the facility, providing clinical and administrative supervision, delivering mental health services to inmate patients, and consulting with facility personnel to ensure quality mental health care for both staff and inmates. Key Responsibilities Plan, supervise, and manage clinical services provided by mental health staff and allocate resources to meet institutional needs. Provide clinical and administrative supervision and direction to mental health staff, including staff disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations. Provide mental health services to inmates in the facility and consult with facility personnel as needed. Coordinate with facility administrative staff and maintain confidentiality of inmate information. Develop and implement corrective steps necessary to ensure the provision of quality mental health care and notify supervisory personnel of significant clinical or administrative concerns. Additional Details 0.0 FTE – Mental Health Coordinator with on-call coverage. Qualifications & Requirements Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral science. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the coordination and administration of mental health service delivery systems. Proven knowledge of management/supervision techniques, mental health counseling, group and individual psychotherapy, diagnosis and treatment of major mental disorders, and psychological evaluation techniques. Licenses & Certifications Licensed to practice psychology or social work in the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification (hands‑on course completed prior to start date).
