Job Title: Production Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join our Roll Forming Plant. The successful candidate will operate a Roll Former to manufacture gutter down pipes with a strong focus on safety. Responsibilities include operating machinery, assembling boxes, adding shipping labels, conducting quality checks through visual inspection and measurement, closing boxes, and moving finished products to the warehouse using a pallet jack. A solid understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to use hand tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate Roll Former machinery to manufacture gutter down pipes.

• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.

• Assemble boxes and affix shipping labels accurately.

• Perform visual inspections and measurements to ensure product quality.

• Secure and close boxes, adding them to pallets.

• Transport finished products to the warehouse using a pallet jack.

• Understand and operate machinery with RAM (pressure machine).

• Utilize hand tools effectively and demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience as a machine operator.

• Proficiency in reading a tape measure.

• Basic math skills and ability to pass a math test.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of metal rolling and stamping.

• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to understand and operate RAM machinery.

• Experience with metal rolling and stamping processes.

Work Environment

Work in a large, clean industrial complex that is not climate controlled. Shifts are available from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The facility is equipped with necessary machinery and tools, offering a robust and collaborative work environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
