Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on diesel repair experience . The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, mechanically knowledgeable, and capable of diagnosing and repairing diesel-powered vehicles and equipment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair diesel-powered trucks, buses, and related equipment.
• Perform mechanical inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs.
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work independently and complete assigned jobs with minimal supervision.
• Follow proper safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Use tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair resources appropriately.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding repairs and service needs.
• Meet reasonable work deadlines while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Be available for overtime when business needs require it.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and grow with the company.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional diesel mechanic experience.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage responsibilities, and make sound repair decisions.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English fluently enough to understand work instructions, safety requirements, technical documentation, and communicate effectively.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced repair environment.
• A positive attitude and a genuine interest in growing with an expanding company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial trucks, buses, and heavy-duty diesel equipment.
• Knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics, electrical systems, air brakes, cooling systems, and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with electronic diagnostic tools and technical repair manuals.
• Relevant technical training, certifications, or commercial vehicle repair credentials.
