Your Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive evaluations of patients, ordering necessary tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses independently or in partnership with physicians, as credentialing allows
• Educating patients and their families on wellness, prevention, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies as allowed within your practice scope
• Managing follow-up care and addressing chronic health issues
• Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to provide seamless, holistic patient care
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Your Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Certifications You Will Need

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (eligibility to obtain within 90 days)
