CT Technologist - Nights

This is a full-time position with a shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, working Thursday through Sunday for the first week of the pay period, and Friday through Sunday for the second week.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, providing support for other imaging technologists as needed to facilitate smooth and efficient patient flow. This role requires flexibility to work other shifts and/or at alternate campuses as required. The technologist will also troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and resolve any issues related to image processing and archiving systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform all imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with policies and standards of care.
• Work collaboratively with management, coworkers, and physicians to create an optimal work environment.
• Adapt assessment and care methods to meet the unique needs of each patient.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to confidentiality policies.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues as necessary.
• Participate in ongoing education, safety, and technical advances within the scope of licensure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography or Computed Tomography, with state licensure as a Medical Radiologic Technologist required in Texas.
• BLS certification (AHA only) required.
