Make a difference as a Shipping Supervisor As a Shipping Supervisor at Krypton Solutions, your day-to-day responsibilities will include overseeing the shipping department operations and ensuring that all outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will coordinate with various teams to manage inventory levels, schedule shipments, and allocate resources effectively. Monitoring the performance of shipping staff will be crucial, as you will provide guidance and training to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices. You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate shipping records and documentation, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise. Additionally, you'll analyze shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies that enhance overall efficiency. Supervise shipping team members to ensure conformance to company procedures. Effectively motivate shipping team members. Count, measure, and/or weigh product to verify contents of shipments against bills of lading or invoices for shipping. Examine articles for defects and sort articles according to extent of defect. Attach identification data to parts/components and record data for nonconforming material to be returned to suppliers. Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping. Perform basic data entry relevant to shipping. What we're looking for in a Shipping Supervisor To excel as a Shipping Supervisor at Krypton Solutions, candidates should possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, allowing them to quickly address any shipping discrepancies or logistical challenges that arise. Time management and organizational skills are vital, enabling you to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Previous work experience in an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus. 2+ years' experience working in shipping. ERP systems experience is a plus.
