We have been taking care of customers in DFW for over 40 years. We are looking for automotive technicians/mechanics that are able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with peers. We have a full-service facility and we are looking for automotive technicians to help us create an environment of success!As a Midas automotive technician, you'll be exposed to and have responsibility for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs and maintenance, including:Diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systemsTires and tire repairCar heating and air conditioningSteering and suspensionBelts and hosesRadiator and engine cooling systemsBatteries, starting and chargingBrakes and brake repairOil changesCheck engine lightMufflers and exhaust servicesVisual safety and courtesy inspectionsAbility to repair vehicles independently, while also having experience working well in a team environmentKnowledge in automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, & engine diagnosticsTrack record of high personal productivityKnowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilitiesExperience with shop equipment such as lifts, tire equipment, alignment machines and scan toolsTechnical degree a definite plusValid driver's licenseOwn toolsAble to service both foreign and domestic vehiclesCompetitive payPaid VacationHoliday pay5 day work week, no SundaysMedical/Dental plansSafety Boot ReimbursementApprentice Tool ProgramContinuing Education (ASE, Vendor, Online)Uniforms providedRetirement Program w/ company matchingCompensation: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
