Sales Representative
We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a background in industrial gears, gearboxes, power transmission, or related industrial equipment.
This is a relationship-driven, technical sales position where you will work directly with industrial customers to understand their applications, identify opportunities, and connect them with the appropriate engineering and manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with industrial customers and accounts
- Identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Sell industrial gears, gearboxes, reducers, and related power transmission solutions
- Understand customer applications and determine appropriate solutions
- Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop custom solutions
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for customers
- Conduct customer visits, sales calls, and presentations
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through project completion
- Grow existing accounts while developing new customer relationships
- Stay informed on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive activity
- Maintain accurate customer and sales information in CRM systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial or technical sales experience preferred
- Experience selling gears, gearboxes, reducers, or power transmission equipment strongly preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand industrial applications
- Comfortable communicating with engineers and technical customers
- Strong relationship-building and business development skills
- Ability to manage a sales territory independently
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
