Position Snapshot We seek a Project Engineer/Senior Engineer with energy experience. Current projects encompass oil & natural gas, CO₂, hydrogen, and RNG pipelines and facilities. The selected candidate will serve as the lead SME technical expert, developing opportunities, executing project work, and guiding project teams. Essential Functions Direct project team on assignments as directed by the lead Project Manager and provide technical guidance. Recommend and implement design changes per client request. Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, or the public as needed. Respond to project inquiries and serve as liaison between clients and team members. Ensure team performance and provide leadership by supervising, advising, and fostering teamwork. Maintain professional and technical knowledge, participating in professional societies and trade associations. Achieve team performance objectives and individual objectives. Collaborate with other Energy teams within Atwell to leverage expertise and share resources. Willingness to travel when necessary. Education Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Electrical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or a related field. Professional License (PE). Day to Day Manage engineering activities related to design of major oil & gas and energy projects throughout the U.S., serving as the main point of contact. Provide engineering technical input across project stages from feasibility to detailed design, coordinating engineering design efforts with EPCs or external consultants. Manage external engineering firms, subcontractors, and various engineering disciplines to achieve high‑quality design and identify critical risks, issues, and impacts. Review and monitor contractors’ progress and key project milestones. Coordinate internally with Development, Engineering, Permitting, GIS, and Land groups. Assist procurement in running RFPs and managing subcontractor processes. Develop, review, and refine electrical and instrumentation designs for natural gas transmission facilities. Collaborate with project teams to define requirements and produce basis of design documents and comprehensive E&I scope packages. Salary Range

$125,000 – $175,000 USD
