Date Posted: 2026-05-26 Location: US-NE-YORK-2800, Division Ave ~ PLANT 52 Role Type: Onsite Eligibility: This position requires a U.S. Person (lawful permanent resident, protected individual, U.S. citizen, national, refugee, or asylee). What You Will Do Use a variety of racking methods to process parts. Prepare parts for shipment to customers. Perform machine setup and runs on annealing furnaces and degreasers. Clean, rack, and heat treat components. Read, interpret, and comprehend process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions. Monitor part-specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation and identify non-conforming part features. Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.). Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities. Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals. Handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, and oils (petroleum-based products) and chemical vapors during normal manufacturing. Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s). Perform additional responsibilities and duties as assigned. Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 pm - 7:00 am (3rd shift) What You Will Learn Set-up and operation of annealing furnaces and degreasers. Reading/interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing). Cross-functional collaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes. Experience with a variety of inspection equipment. Qualifications HS diploma or equivalent, or in the absence of a HS diploma, GED, 2 years of relevant experience. Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals. Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple job-specific applications (including email and internet). Experience with measurement equipment (gauges, calipers, etc.) is preferred. Experience with basic hand tools. Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.
