We're growing and have multiple Building Engineer openings available in Columbus, OH . If you're a hands-on maintenance professional with strong electrical and HVAC experience , this is your opportunity to join a stable team supporting industrial and commercial facilities. We're looking for technicians who enjoy troubleshooting complex systems, solving problems, and keeping critical operations running safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial building systems and equipment

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, motors, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment

• Diagnose and repair electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical issues

• Monitor and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) and building controls

• Complete daily equipment inspections, operational checks, and equipment rounds

• Maintain generators, fire and life safety systems, and other critical infrastructure

• Perform lighting, plumbing, carpentry, door hardware, and general building maintenance repairs

• Utilize CMMS software to document work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment history

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during repairs and maintenance projects

• Respond to equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations while maintaining a safe work environment

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems and commercial/industrial HVAC

• Experience with boilers, chillers, pumps, compressors, motors, and mechanical equipment

• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and CMMS software

• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics

• Universal EPA Certification preferred

• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance programs

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
