Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Wellness Social Attend Corporation, you will: Develop individualized therapy strategies for clients, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations that inform treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and group sessions, based on their unique needs and goals. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy to address client issues effectively. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support throughout their therapeutic journey. Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to a transparent and effective clinical practice. Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay abreast of the latest advancements in mental health research. Patient Population / Client Focus The primary clientele comprises individuals from various backgrounds, including those with limited access to mental health services. As a counselor, you will focus on a wide range of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use disorders, ensuring each client receives tailored interventions that promote lasting change. Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey. A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting. A strong understanding of legal, ethical, and best practice standards in mental health counseling. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse client base. Proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and related technologies essential for documenting treatment and client interactions. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use treatment are highly preferred. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with caseload and experience.
