Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not promised or guaranteed)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Medical Surgical (MS) unit, providing care for adult patients with various conditions, including:

• Post-surgical care
• Abdominal pain
• Cholelithiasis
• Osteoarthritis
• Fractures
• Back pain
• Morbid obesity (bariatric surgery)

Responsibilities

The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, which includes the use of specialty equipment such as:

• IV pumps
• N/G tubes
• Feeding tubes

Floating to other units may be required as part of the position.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Up to date resume with 2+ years of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
• Documented travel nursing experience is required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active NY RN license and all active RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• Drivers license with address matching demographics
