Working closely with Engineering, IT and business stakeholders, you will drive value, manage commercial risk and support the delivery of strategic technology objectives.Core duties:Lead and develop a small, high-performing procurement team, providing coaching, direction and supportLead strategic supplier relationship management with key software vendors and technology partnersNegotiate and deliver Enterprise Agreements, software licensing arrangements and other complex commercial contractsEngage with IT and other business stakeholders to shape sourcing strategies, support technology roadmaps and understand future demandLeadcomplex sourcing activities, renewals and commercial negotiations to deliver cost, value and performance improvementsProvide procurement leadership and commercial guidance on software, SaaS and related technology requirementsEssential Skills:Significant procurement experience within software, technology, engineering software or IT infrastructure categoriesStrong experience in strategic sourcing, category management and procurement strategy developmentDemonstrable success in supplier relationship management and managing strategic vendor partnershipsExperience leading, developing or mentoring procurement professionalsThe IPS Technology Procurement Team:As part of this role you will get the opportunity to lead and develop a team of procurement professionals, providing direction, coaching and support to deliver category objectives and strong procurement outcomes.
