Quirk Auto Group, one of Maine's largest retailers, is looking for a qualified person to join our team as a Vehicle Driver at Quirk Chevrolet in Rockland.
Job Type: Part-time, On-Call
Schedule: variable/on-call (not a fixed shift schedule)
Job Description
Do you love being behind the wheel and hate being stuck behind a desk? Quirk Chevrolet is looking for a dependable, road-ready drivers to join our team supporting dealer trades and transporting vehicle from our multiple locations. This on-call role is perfect if you want to earn solid pay with no fixed shifts. You need a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to drive a manual stick when necessary.
It also means you'll be interacting with customers and be a part of their experience. We need your friendly smile and welcoming personality to greet each person.
Responsibilities
Drive vehicles to and from our multiple locations
Handle occasional dealer trade runs between locations
Answer the call (literally) when assignments pop up
Represent the company with a friendly, professional attitude on the road
Qualifications
Valid, unrestricted driver's license
Clean driving record
Comfortable driving both automatic and manual transmissions (preferred)
Reliable, responsive, and ready to work on short notice
On-call schedule - you're not locked into set shifts, just ready when we need you
