Can you keep a fixed batch plant at peak output?Do VFDs, PLCs, motor starters, and 480V 3‑phase feel like home?Can you diagnose a finicky load cell, then weld a cracked chute before the next pour?Are you comfortable at heights, in confined spaces, and out in the weather—safely?If yes, you’re who we’re looking for. This role is dedicated to stationary equipment—no mixer truck or fleet vehicle work. Compensation starts at $34/hour.Your impactOwn the uptime of batchers, mixers, conveyors, aggregate bins, cement/fly ash silos, dust collection, and metering systemsTroubleshoot and repair control panels, sensors, load cells/scales, Jonel batch controls, and related wiringService motor controls, VFDs, PLCs (Allen‑Bradley preferred), and plant power distributionExecute PMs, document work in the CMMS, and maintain parts inventoryMaintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic assemblies—gates, actuators, cylinders, and air compressorsWeld/fabricate to restore chutes, hoppers, walkways, ladders, and structural componentsRespond to breakdowns with a safety‑first, low‑downtime mindset; rotate on call for after‑hours/weekendsInspect baghouses/dust collectors and pressure relief devices for complianceMentor junior mechanics on safe troubleshooting practicesMust‑haves3+ years in an industrial mechanic/electrician role on fixed/stationary equipment (ready mix, aggregate, concrete, or heavy industrial)Proficiency with motor controls, VFDs, PLCs, and 480V 3‑phaseAbility to read electrical and hydraulic schematics and wiring diagramsExperience with Jonel controls—or eagerness to learn our platformWorking knowledge of hydraulics and pneumaticsBasic hand tools; we supply specialty/heavy toolsComfort outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces with proper PPE/trainingSelf‑directed problem solver who performs well with limited supervisionNice‑to‑havesJourneyman electrician license or equivalent industrial trainingConcrete/pipe/aggregate or heavy manufacturing backgroundMIG/stick welding and fabricationExperience with silos, baghouses, and dust collection systemsPhysical & environmentLift/carry up to 50 lbs routinely; up to 75 lbs with help occasionallyFrequent standing, kneeling, bending, climbing; tight/elevated spaces (silo tops, catwalks, conveyor structures)Non‑climate‑controlled setting; exposure to distracting noise and outdoor weather conditionsPay, perks, and growthStarting at $34/hourMedical, Dental, VisionLife & Supplement LifeCompany Matched 401K Retirement PlanPaid HolidaysVacation & Sick LeaveTraining and DevelopmentEmployee DiscountsCareer OpportunityFun Events$1,000.00 Referral BonusNot A Warehouse Job.
