Outpatient Speech Language Pathologist

OUTPATIENT SPEECH‑LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – PRN COPPERFIELD HEALTHCARE & REHABILITATION – HOUSTON, TX Copperfield Healthcare & Rehabilitation in Houston, TX, is seeking a PRN Outpatient Speech‑Language Pathologist to join our in‑house therapy team. Responsibilities Effectively screen and evaluate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders and develop appropriate plans of care following regulatory and clinical practice standards. Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Evaluate treatment outcomes for effectiveness, modify services as needed, and make referrals based on outcomes. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding speech disorders. Provide comprehensive discharge summaries of services per regulatory and clinical requirements. Document all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintain patient records per company policy. Qualifications Licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist. Open to SLPs at all experience levels. Benefits & Compensation Pay rates are competitive and based on various factors.
