Role Description This is a full-time, in office Senior Project Manager role based in McCook, IL. The Project Manager will oversee structural and miscellaneous iron projects from award through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, fabricators, field crews, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. The role involves tracking project progress, managing RFIs and change orders, reviewing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The Project Manager will also lead project meetings, resolve issues in the field, mentor junior project staff, and support continuous improvement of project management processes. Qualifications Expeditor and Expediting skills to monitor material status, follow up with vendors, and prevent schedule delays. Inspection experience to review workmanship, verify compliance with drawings/specifications, and support quality control. Logistics Management skills to coordinate deliveries, staging, and sequencing of materials and equipment. Proven experience managing construction, steel, or fabrication projects, preferably in structural or miscellaneous iron. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities with clients, vendors, and field teams. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications. Proficiency with project management software and common office tools (e.g. Tekla, Excel, email). Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
