Position Title: Supervisor, Scheduling Location: Los Angeles, CA 90022 Job Overview The Scheduling Supervisor oversees all aspects of scheduling and coordinating specialty care services for PACE Participants. This includes supervising, training, mentoring, and evaluating the work performance of Scheduling and Transportation Coordinators at the assigned site. The role ensures the team's ready-to-schedule work queues are managed and that end-to-end standard scheduling workflows and SOPs are followed per regulatory standards and company policies. The Supervisor also oversees daily scheduling functions, ensuring efficient processing of pre-authorization requests and approved referrals, supervises daily specialty appointments, coordinates daily transportation requirements, and identifies barriers to scheduling appointments and completing scheduled visits. Responsibilities Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Scheduling and Transportation Coordinators. Manage scheduling work queues and ensure adherence to standard processes. Ensure efficient processing of pre-authorization requests and referrals. Coordinate daily specialty appointments and transportation requirements. Identify and address barriers to scheduling specialty appointments. Review productivity performance metrics and assess staff competencies. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Minimum Requirements High School graduate or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience in healthcare or related field. Experience in process or quality improvement projects preferred. Knowledge of healthcare software programs/systems (EHR, Epic, Connect) preferred. Experience in medical specialty services appointment scheduling preferred.
