Job Title Temporary Research Associate Summary Professor Makaroff is seeking a temporary Research Associate to coordinate joint computational and experimental work with Harvard University. Location Worcester Department Electrical & Computer Engineering - JM Responsibilities Coordinate WPI-MGH joint computational and experimental research with Professor Fried and his team on activation/inhibition of cortical neurons by magnetic microstimulation (micro‑coils). Simulate coil fields in a dense cellular environment. Requirements Biomedical engineer with knowledge of neuronal activation and interactions including synaptic activation. Knowledge of NEURON software is a plus. Compensation Hourly pay rate: $35.00 per hour. Hybrid, 15 hours per week until the end of August 2026.
