Freight Forwarder

Coordinate the exportation of goods by ocean, including carrier booking and managing movement through transportation channels Coordinate the exportation of goods by air, including airline scheduling and managing movement through transportation channels Prepare and process customs-clearance documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading Track and monitor shipments and provide customers with regular status updates Manage customer relationships, satisfaction, concerns, and issues Collaborate with logistics, finance, operations, and other internal departments Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and other relevant laws Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred Experience in air and ocean exports is highly desirable Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as calculating costs and rates Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of air and ocean freight logistics Understanding of trade laws and regulations Fluency in English is required Knowledge of additional languages is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with logistics software and systems is preferred Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in coordinating air and ocean exports, managing customs-clearance documentation, and ensuring compliance with trade laws and regulations.
