What You’ll Do

• Select and prepare ultrasound equipment and transducers according to exam specifications.
• Perform ultrasound/vascular procedures while explaining the process to patients and supporting age-appropriate understanding.
• Adjust equipment controls (e.g., depth of field and imaging settings) based on the body part and test requirements.
• Assess patient comfort during imaging and communicate with the appropriate physician when intervention may be needed.
• Provide safe, patient-centered care while minimizing the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
• Follow established standards, protocols, and best practices for imaging procedures.
• Document patient information appropriately and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain and adjust ultrasound equipment as required.
