Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active Maryland Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing physical therapy in skilled nursing facility or post-acute care settings preferred.
• Experience with therapeutic exercise, gait training, transfers, and mobility aids (e.g., walkers, canes, Hoyer lifts) preferred.
• Ability to document in electronic medical records and comply with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Shift Details: Days 0800-1630.
• VMS Contract Weeks: 14-week assignment.
• VMS Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours per week.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday coverage with expectations to support weekend coverage as needed per facility staffing (VMS lists coverage Sun–Sat).
