We’re actively hiring for upcoming data center projects across the U.S. Roleswe’rehiring Senior Commissioning Technicians (by trade) Whowe’relooking forSENIORcommissioning technicians with data center experience, including: Commissioning Electricians Instrument & Controls / BAS Technicians Mechanical Commissioning Technicians HVAC Technicians Whatyou’lldo (depending on trade) Electrical / Power Systems Perform commissioning and start-up: inspections, energization support, functional testing, troubleshooting Commission switchgear (LV/MV), ATS/STS, UPS, generators, PDUs/RPPs, breakers, transformers, and controls Execute testing and produce client-ready documentation I&C / Controls / BAS Loop checks, point-to-point verification, calibration, and functional testing Validate BMS/BAS, EPMS, generator/UPS controls, and critical interlocks Support trending, deficiency tracking, and turnover packages Mechanical / HVAC Commission chillers, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs, pumps, cooling towers, VFDs, hydronic systems Validate airflow, temperatures, setpoints, safeties, and sequences Support functional and integrated systems testing 2) Commissioning Leads (Project Leads) Commissioning Leads serve as the primary onsite leaders for commissioning execution—driving safe progress, quality documentation, coordination, and turnover. Whatyou’lldo as a Project Lead Lead execution, safety, and quality Serve as the primary onsite leader for the full commissioning project: planning, prioritizing, coordinating, and driving safe progress across all systems and teams Own quality of all commissioning deliverables: test documentation, deficiency tracking, redlines, turnover packages, and closeout Act as the key point of contact for client reps, coordinating with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to remove roadblocks and maintain schedule momentum Drive readiness reviews, functional testing, and integrated systems testing (IST) coordination across all disciplines (Electrical, Controls, Mechanical/HVAC, Network/Comms partners) Mentorship & team leadership Coach technicians on best practices, safe execution, troubleshooting methods, and documentation standards Provide on-the-job training, set expectations, and support development of junior and mid-level technicians Maintain a high-performing culture: clear communication, accountability, and collaborative problem-solving Technical leadership (leveragingyour coreexpertise) Project Lead – Electrical/Power Systems Focus Provide hands-on guidance for commissioning mission-critical power distribution equipment such as switchgear (LV/MV), ATS/STS, UPS systems, generators, PDUs/RPPs, breakers, transformers, and related monitoring/controls Oversee electrical testing activities and ensure accurate documentation Lead troubleshooting and support energization planning and execution Project Lead – I&C / Controls / BAS Focus Provide hands-on guidance for loop checks, point-to-point verification, calibration/verification, and functional testing Oversee validation of sequences, alarms, and monitoring for BMS/BAS, EPMS, generator controls, UPS monitoring, and critical infrastructure interlocks Drive trending, issue resolution, and turnover readiness for controls deliverables All roles Work safely and contribute to a high-standard commissioning culture Mentor junior techs and collaborate with leads, vendors, and clients Deliver accurate reporting, test results, and turnover packages Experience that stands out Hands-on data center / mission-critical commissioning Integrated systems testing (IST) experience Familiarity with Hexagon Smart Completions (asset) Strong troubleshooting in schedule-driven environments Skills & qualifications Journeyman / technology diploma / NCCER (or equivalent) Relevant certifications (NETA an asset for electrical) Ability to read drawings, one-lines, P&IDs Strong documentation and reporting skills Valid driver’s license, willingness to travel 8–12+ years of commissioning experience, including datacentre/ mission-critical environments Proven experience leading full commissioning projects, coordinating multi-discipline crews and activities Strong mentoring and field leadership track record (training, coaching, accountability) Deep technical expertise in either electrical/power systems or I&C/controls (as indicated in role focus) Ability to interpret drawings, one-lines, P&IDs, and written procedures and turn them into executable plans Strong written communication for client-facing reporting and documentation Journeyman ticket / technology diploma / NCCER (or equivalent), as applicable Relevant certifications (NETA is an asset for Electrical-focused leads) Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel Eligible to work in the U.S. What we offer Competitive hourly wages + daily perdiems Health insurance contribution 401(k) matching Strong field support, training, and growth to lead roles A team that values precision, safety, and your success Ready to power the next generation of data centers?
