Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role at Stryker focused on developing mechanical and electromechanical surgical instruments. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and verify mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices
- Translate clinical and user requirements into engineering specifications and designs
- Conduct prototyping, testing, and design verification to evaluate performance and compliance
- Author and maintain engineering documentation including design records and test protocols
- Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and cross-functional teams on product launches
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of product design or development engineering experience
- Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling software
- Ability to create engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Experience with Creo CAD software (preferred)
- Experience designing mechanical or electromechanical assemblies (preferred)
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability principles and GD&T (preferred)
Compensation: $77,700 - $129,500 USD annual
