Theut Products is a concrete and block producer, and building materials store that has 6 locations located through SE Michigan. We have been servicing the construction industry for 89 years and are looking to expand our reach. We are searching for qualified individuals to join our team of ready-mix concrete drivers. Locations include Romeo, Chesterfield, Richmond, Marysville, Marine City, and Croswell. Come join the Team!

Job Purpose:

We are looking for an experienced or novice concrete mixer driver at all our locations to better serve our customers in a safe, timely, and respectful manner. We are willing to train qualified individuals with a valid CDL license and airbrake endorsement.

Responsibilities:

· Transport concrete materials over land to and from manufacturing plants to job sites

· Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform some preventative maintenance

· Follow routes and meet delivery schedules

· Document load times & unload times

· Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

· Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

· Collect and verify delivery instructions

· Report defects, accidents or violations

· Maintain proper concrete loads

Skills:

· Proven work experience as a concrete mixer driver (Preferred)

· Ability to drive long hours

· Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

· No recent moving or driving violations

· Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)

· Valid truck driving license

· Detailed and thorough communication

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Multiple Locations

Salary: Range $27.60 – 34.50 per hour

Education:

· High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

· Driving: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

· Driver's License (Required)

· CDL (Required)

· Air-brake Endorsement (Required)
