Conduct diligent inspections and observation of all persons, vehicles, and activity in the vicinity of posts or persons entering the facilities; field interview all unauthorized people and report suspicious or unusual activity; and control pedestrian and vehicle access to the facility.
Respond to emergencies and other potentially dangerous situations, threats to Bank personnel and the facility and exhibit good judgment over life and safety issues while adhering to Federal Law Enforcement protocols, Bank policy and procedures.

Perform building patrols for safety or security violations and report findings to command staff.
Develop and maintain proficiency in areas such as weapons, first aid, CPR, civil disorders, and public relations, by attending training classes.
Carry firearms and make arrests for offenses against the United States and access law enforcement information pursuant to section 11(q) of the Federal Reserve Act (12 U.S.C. 248(q)).
Attend training to meet all physical and classroom training requirements annually.
Answer inquiries of the public and employees, monitor employee and visitor IDs, inspect packages and bags, and direct people to their destinations as needed.
