Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring active MA licensure and high-risk L&D experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital setting
• Level III NNICU with relatively high volume of deliveries including VBACs, Caesareans, and natural births
• May float between Postpartum and Labor & Delivery units
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 12-hour rotating shifts (7p-7:30a or 7a-7:30p)
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and 2 Friday shifts required within each 6-week block
• One 12-hour on-call shift required per 6-week schedule

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Tertiary/high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
• Postpartum experience required due to potential floating between units
• First-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within a high-risk Labor & Delivery and Postpartum environment
• Weekly orientation occurs every Monday, barring holidays
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Candidates must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least six months prior to starting, whether previously employed as travel, perm, or per diem staff
• Required vaccinations include COVID-19 (plus booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
• RTO requests must be submitted with availability at time of consideration
