This role ensures a positive customer experience, protects bank assets, and adheres to all established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Supervisory Responsibilities None Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Warmly greet customers and provide prompt, courteous assistance Process financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, cashier’s checks, gift cards, savings bond redemptions, and loan payments Verify customer identities, signatures, and account information to reduce fraud risks and protect customer accounts Review checks for proper endorsements, dates, sufficient funds, payee identification, issuing bank validity, and overall legality Log and process night deposit envelopes in accordance with dual-control procedures Assist customers with Safe Deposit Box entry (if located at the branch) and process safe deposit box rental payments Respond to customer inquiries, resolve routine account issues, and **escalate** complex matters appropriately Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services that meet customer needs and broaden their banking relationships Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., BSA, AML, privacy laws) Maintain a professional, organized and secure workspace; uphold confidentiality and security protocols Participate in ongoing training and professional development Demonstrate a strong commitment to the Company’s mission, values, and customer service standards The above represents general responsibilities for the position.
