CAD Technician (Entry-Level)
Location: Little Elm, TX
Salary: $60,000 – $70,000
About the Role
We are seeking a motivated CAD Technician to join our engineering team in Little Elm, TX. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to two years of drafting experience to work on civil, structural, and geotechnical construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings and plans
- Update and complete redlined and as-built drawings
- Develop drawings from sketches, schematics, and engineering concepts
- Assist with design modifications and drafting improvements
- Produce detailed technical and construction drawings
- Coordinate CAD projects with engineers and team members
- Generate and manage project layout files
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience is a plus
- 0–2 years of CAD drafting or related experience
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
