Electrical EngineerApplication Deadline: 08/07/2026 Position Summary: JGMS Government Services is looking to hire an electrical engineer that will work within a project team environment to support construction projects. This position is full-time and will be performed on-site in Niskayuna, NY. Candidates must have an active DOE L security clearance.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Work with a project team to develop specifications, cost estimates, drawing reviews, and provide engineering support during the construction phase for buildings and utility projects.Oversee architectural engineering firms in developing concept designs, construction documents, and cost estimates.Coordinate and interact with facility staff and contractors.Required Qualifications:Bachelor of science in electrical engineering.5-10+ years experience performing electrical engineering tasks including the development of contract documents, calculations, and cost estimates.Working knowledge of building codes and standards.Experience in construction administration (submittal review, RFI's, construction inspections, etc.).Desired Qualifications:EIT certificate and/or PE licenseEngineering consulting experienceWorking knowledge of NECSecurity Clearance: Candidates must have an active DOE L security clearance.
