Full-Time Behavioral Technician – Gloucester County, NJ ($300 Sign-On Bonus) Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with developmental and intellectual disabilities. We serve families across the state of New Jersey and are currently seeking dedicated Behavioral Technicians to join our Gloucester County team. Job Summary As a Behavioral Technician, you will support children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Providers typically work 40 hours per week, with 2–4 hour shifts primarily scheduled in the evenings. Services are hands-off, emotionally supportive, and designed to promote client alertness, engagement, and emotional well‑being. Roles & Responsibilities Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families Ensure the safety and well-being of the client Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan Conduct functional assessments, including Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Use redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns Submit visit notes promptly following each session in accordance with organizational and compliance guidelines Respond to crises using de‑escalation and safety strategies Engage clients in interest‑based activities to support growth and awareness Attend case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings Follow all agency protocols, procedures, and professional guidelines Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available) Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire Initiative to frequently check emails for admin communications Valid New Jersey Driver’s License Must pass all state and federal background checks A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines If a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) by the BACB, you must have at least one year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities If you have a Bachelor’s degree in behavior analysis, psychology, special education, guidance and counseling, or social work, you must have at least one year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities If you have a High School Diploma or GED, you must have at least three years of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals Skills / Abilities Active listening and emotional intelligence Positive leadership and adaptability in dynamic environments Patience, compassion, and empathy in client interactions Strong verbal and written communication skills Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively Familiarity with evidence‑based approaches for developmental disabilities Proficiency in client engagement and behavioral redirection strategies Benefits A dynamic work environment Opportunities for professional growth Competitive pay Paid Time Off & Sick Pay (Full-Time): PTO accrual based on years of service (13–20 days annually) Sick Time Off (STO) up to 40 hours per year Paid Time Off & Sick Pay (Part-Time): PTO accrual based on years of service (up to 40 hours annually) Sick Time Off (STO) up to 40 hours per year Ongoing Job Training Health and Ancillary Benefits ICHRA Health Coverage Reimbursement Plan Short/Long Term Disability Life Insurance 401K Sign‑On Bonus We are excited to offer a $300 sign‑on bonus to new Behavioral Technicians who join our team in Cumberland County!
