Construction Project Manager

Location: United States / Texas (Travel up to 30%) Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 + Bonus + Exceptional Benefits Our client is a privately owned developer, owner, and operator of mission‑critical data center infrastructure, delivering high‑performance facilities for some of the world's largest enterprise and technology organizations. Backed by significant long‑term investment and an experienced leadership team with deep expertise in technology and real estate development, they continue to expand across North America. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex data center construction projects. The Role As Construction Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with design consultants, contractors, procurement teams, operations, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead multi‑phase data center construction projects from pre‑construction through commissioning. Manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and cost reporting. Coordinate effectively between owners, design teams, contractors, and vendors to minimise project constraints. Support contractor tendering processes, including RFP development, bid evaluation, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with health & safety teams to ensure site safety standards are maintained. Review design documentation, providing constructability feedback and cost analysis. Oversee RFIs, submittals, procurement schedules, and equipment delivery. Review contractor invoices, work‑in‑progress reports, and negotiate change orders. Provide regular project status updates to senior stakeholders. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent industry experience. 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience. Previous experience delivering data center projects is highly desirable. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
