Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every third weekend | Every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to work night shifts, every third weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior telemetry monitoring experience and ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Experience in a critical access or community hospital environment
