Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Surgery team. This position is crucial in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery in a high-volume clinical setting. Responsibilities
- Provide pre-operative care and assessment to patients prior to surgery.
- Conduct pre-admission testing and prepare patients for outpatient procedures.
- Administer post-operative care in the Phase 2 Recovery area, ensuring safe discharge of outpatient surgery patients.
- Maintain productivity while ensuring high-quality patient care in a busy environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous acute care facility experience is preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required.
- Experience with Epic Optime is highly preferred to ensure seamless integration into the role.
