Job Overview Inventory Supervisor The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the inventory function for the production and/or warehouse facility. Direct supervisor over inventory clerks and coordinators. Schedule Full-time Sunday through Thursday 4:00am start Flexibility to work overtime as needed Position Responsibilities Submit request for materials, prepare purchase orders, track purchases and supplies Schedule incoming and outgoing shipments both intercompany and external suppliers Work with operations team to review inventory strategies for maximum efficiencies Manage damage and returned product Monitor Inventory expiration dates for obsolesce avoidance and provide corrective action. Manage distressed inventory and short dated product Responsible for inventory/material dispositions Monitor completeness, accuracy, and compliance during inventory transactions. Oversee purchase orders, data entry, and shipping and receiving of materials Lead and supervise inventory team, resolving problems, conducting training and setting schedules. Track, audit, and ensure adequate supply of inventory throughout the organization. Lead the planning/organization of physical inventories Act as a liaison to other departments (Systems/Purchasing/Production) Communicate with production team about current stock and potential issues with orders Conduct daily analyses to forecast potential inventory issues Report on inventory activities and variances Conduct and report on inventory cycle counts Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices Confidence, integrity and an autonomous mindset with the ability to work independently and strive to win, even in challenging environments Ability to comprehend and follow work instructions and calibrate instrumentation Team-player attitude with well-developed interpersonal skills and comfort in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.
