PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts Distribution of Cat Parts, Integrated Logistics and Global Services supporting Caterpillar dealers and customers. Our teams work together in critical areas that leverage digital capabilities, technology and operational excellence.As a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst supporting Integrated Components Division (ICD), you will serve as the primary analytics partner for Wear & Maintenance Components organizations. This role provides the opportunity to drive business transformation through advanced analytics, digital applications, automation, and Artificial Intelligence while partnering directly with business leaders across, Undercarriage, Ground Engaging Tools (GET), Wear Components, Maintenance Components, Facilities, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Product Groups.You will lead the identification, prioritization, and delivery of analytics initiatives that improve operational performance, enhance customer decision-making, and accelerate digital adoption across ICD. Acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will translate complex business challenges into scalable analytics, application, and AI solutions that drive measurable business value.Additional Information:Location: Peoria, IL (United States)Required Travel: Less than 10% (Domestic)Relocation Assistance Offered: NoneUS Work Sponsorship Offered: NoneWhat You Will Do:Lead customer engagement activities including project intake, prioritization, requirements gathering, roadmap development, and solution adoption.Drive strategic analytics, reporting, application development, automation, and AI portfolio.Partner with engineering, supply chain, commercial, manufacturing, and product teams to identify business opportunities and deliver data-driven solutions.Lead development and continuous improvement of Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, web applications, and AI-enabled business solutions.Facilitate project governance, stakeholder communications, risk management, and milestone tracking across the ICD analytics portfolio.Champion process improvement, standardization, and data-driven decision making.What You Have (Basic Requirements):Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in related field or 8 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degreeAccuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.What Will Set You Apart (Preferred Qualifications):Strong knowledge of Undercarriage (UC), Ground Engaging Tools (GET), Wear Components, Maintenance Components, and related value-chain processes.Experience developing business cases and roadmaps for enterprise analytics, applications, automation, and AI initiatives.Experience with Power BI, Sigma, Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and modern analytics platforms.Working knowledge of AI, machine learning, Microsoft Copilot, and emerging digital technologies.Strong project leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.Experience serving as customer-facing analytics lead responsible for strategic project portfolios.Previous experience supporting ICD Wear & Maintenance Components organizations.Demonstrated success collaborating across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, commercial, and product organizations.What You Will Get:This is Caterpillar – creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition. Learn more about The Caterpillar Experienceand why It's More Than a Job, it's a Careerat Caterpillar.Learn more about what happens inside Caterpillar’s Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD).About Caterpillar:Caterpillar Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.
