Location

What You’ll Do

• Architect Mission‑Critical Systems – design and evolve high‑performance, distributed services in our core Java environment. Steward architectural design for systems that process billions of transactions, ensuring scalability, robustness, and enterprise‑grade quality.
• Drive Real‑Time Data Innovation – lead the development of sophisticated stream processing pipelines and event‑driven architectures. Bridge foundational data stores and real‑time analytics to enable the Intelligence Layer that defines our global platform.
• Pioneer AI‑Augmented Engineering – embrace an AI‑first development culture, utilizing tools such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor to solve deep architectural puzzles and champion disciplined, maintainable design.

What You’ll Achieve: Impact & Outcomes

• First 3 months – acquire a deep understanding of our core engine and streaming pipelines, delivering high‑quality features with AI‑assisted tools.
• Month 6 – take ownership of a specific service or functional area, implementing complex streaming or backend features that are performant and integrate seamlessly with our real‑time data layer.
• First year – contribute to long‑term reliability by resolving technical bottlenecks, driving AI‑augmented practices, and playing a key role in adopting a responsive, event‑driven architecture.

Your Experience (Must‑Haves)

• Strong Java Foundations – significant experience building and scaling services within large codebases using Modern Java, Spring, and ORM frameworks.
• Real‑Time Data Processing & Data Engineering – architecting stream processing pipelines, managing data consistency, and working with Kafka, Flink, Beam, CDC, MySQL, ClickHouse, Redis.
• Infrastructure & Deployment – architect and manage cloud‑native backend services using AWS and Kubernetes for high availability and resilience.
• AI‑Assisted Productivity – proficient with AI‑assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, and Cursor to increase technical leverage.

Nice to Haves

• Data & Analytics – relational database optimization or real‑time data synchronization experience.
• Cloud Operations – familiarity with deploying and monitoring services in cloud‑native or containerized environments.

Base Pay Details

Base pay: $164,800—$226,600 USD. Base pay is one element of the Total Rewards Package; additional elements may include bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits.
