Senior Operations Manager

Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 per year + Annual Bonus + Full Benefits (Good-faith estimated range) About the Opportunity Ashley Furniture is hiring a Senior Operations Manager - Bedding at the Verona, MS manufacturing facility. In this role, you will provide executive operational leadership for bedding and mattress manufacturing operations, driving world-class safety, output, quality, and cost performance. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: Lead all manufacturing shifts and departments within the bedding division to achieve aggressive production schedules. Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean manufacturing principles, line balancing, and Kaizen initiatives to optimize cycle times. Safety Culture: Champion a zero-incident safety culture, enforcing safety procedures and environmental compliance. Budget & Cost Management: Manage plant operational budgets, labor efficiency, scrap reduction, and equipment investments. Talent Development: Recruit, mentor, and build high-performing production supervisory and operational teams. Candidate Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or Business Administration. Experience : 7+ years of manufacturing operations management experience, ideally in bedding, furniture, or high-volume assembly. Skills : Proven operational leadership, Six Sigma / Lean certifications, strategic thinking, and team-building capability.
